Saturday night hot-dog roast...

My brother and his cute wife had me over for a hot-dog roast. We got a fire going, roasted hot dogs, and smores. The dogs hung out and ran around and played and we sat out by the fire giggling, and eating until we could eat no more. It was so much fun! The only thing that was missing was my other neices, Z, Sophie, Oliviah and Tayla! Thanks Becca for such a fun night!

Saturday night hotdog roast!

Such a cute boy...

Yes, I am pathetic but he is like my child. He is my test subject with the new camera, and I think he is getting a little sick of all the pictures!

!

Random pictures..

Told you I would be posting random photos with my new camera. This is the lense I bought that focuses your main object then does the background blurry.. I love it...It doesn't take great talent to do great pics with this camera. However I do start photography classes this week!

My latest toy....

I like to pretend that I take good pictures, however I have always just had your standard digital camera. This year with part of my tax money, I went and got a fancy one. I love it! I don't know what all it can do.. but from what I can tell, the pictures it takes are fabulous. So i might be posting a bunch of random pictures of nothing important just to show how fancy I think the camera is.

Happy Birthday Josh!

Josh was able to fly Tayla down for his birthday. It was a short weekend, but we are so glad she was able to celebrate her Dad's birthday with him. It turns out to be quit the noisy party with the additonal family members and puppies running around!

Another Grand-dog for Grandma Leanie

My mom has always wanted a Grandchild that is a boy, and when I adopted Chance she joked around that he is the Grandson she always wanted! She lovingly calls him her Granddog! For my Brother's B-day Tayla and Becca decided to get him another dog. My mom now laughs that she has more Granddogs than Grandkids. I don't envy all that comes along with a new puppy, however he is SO dang cute. Name is still undecided.

Random photo...

So people may think that I have officially gone off the deep end... I don't know why but I woke up one day after a night shift (I blame my easy, lame amusement on lack of sleep) I put my littly sleep mask on Chance... and yes he actually kept in on for a minute. He takes every chance he can get to get his filthy little paws on it...

Super bowl sunday...

So no exciting plans for Super Bowel Sunday. I headed over to my parents house to hang out for a bit before I went to work. Decided to take Chance out to the field to work on his listening skills when I call him. He chased the dogs and the horse in the yard by the field. He loved it. Yes, yes people I know...I am turning into the crazy dog lady that just talks about her dog. Sorry, but he is as close as I get to a child...

See.. I can be domestic...

My Mom and her friend thought it would be fun to get together once a month and make cards. Me and my friend Katherine jointed the girls for the card making. Once we got going.. we ended up having a lot of fun. Those girls sure are creative. Here are a few of the cards we made... they were on a role. Me, well I got 2 done... not real productive. I think I was trying to hard!

Quickly reminded...

I always want to buy fun stuffed animal squeaky toys for my dog, I however am quickly reminded as I got this cute little lobster home... why I don't. This was really less than 5 minutes at home, when he had destroyed the stuffed animal, and had ate half the stuffing out of it. Sad to say I have even shopped in the indestructable isle at the pet store, and he has destructed some of that stuff!
